Who: Stanford‐Lincoln County Tourism and the Cow Bell Days Committee would like to invite you to the inaugural Cow Bell Days festival in Historic Downtown Stanford, Kentucky.
What: This festival aims to celebrate all things Kentucky from our unique arts and crafts to our rural heritage. The festival will take place June 17‐18, 2016 and include live music, food, children’ activities, art and craft vendors, a parade, and the Miss Cow Bell pageant. Read more »

The main event of the Cornbread Festival is the luncheon consisting of mill ground cornmeal “hoecakes”, pinto beans (onions & relish provided), dessert and a drink for $6.00.
An alternate lunch is also available for $6.00, consisting of a hot dog (fixings), chips, dessert & drink.
Entertainment will be provided by the Fall Creek Boys and the Waynetonians (choir from Monticello Elementary in Wayne County). Read more »
The Gospel Music Fan Awards Ceremony will be held Saturday,
May 21, 2016, at The Center for Rural Development, capping off the week of the 12th annual Gospel Music FanFair in

On April 16, volunteers are invited to pick up litter along lake
roads during the sixth annual Dale Hollow Spring Cleanup.
Hundreds of volunteers are expected, and they will receive a
free lunch and will be entered into a drawing for door prizes. Free T-shirts
will be given away, while supplies last.

Johnson County Cooperative Extension Service Farm and Home Field Day
will be held on Friday, August 7th at the historic Robert Elam Farm
at Boons Camp on Rt. 2040 across from Meade Memorial School. Registration is at
4 pm, meal is at 6 pm. Tours, demonstrations, lessons, and crafts! Something
