TOUR SEKY Hosts Successful Spring Work Study Trip
TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) hosted a spring work study trip to Boone, North Carolina April 30th-May 2nd. Boone is located in the heart of North Carolina’s High Country and is known for its outdoor recreation opportunities.
More than 30 people from communities throughout the state participated in the three day work shop. Attendees included Judge Executives, Mayors, and tourism professionals from across the region. Read more »

City of Barbourville will host a BBQ Cook-Off June 1, 2013
The City of Barbourville will host a BBQ Cook-Off June 1st at Thompson Park. The event will start at 10:00 am. In addition to bragging rights, the Grand Champion will receive $500. 7th Annual Appalachian Craft Fair Scheduled
TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky will host the 7th Annual Appalachian Craft Fair June 22, 2013. The event will be held 11am-6 pm ET at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, KY. Admission is free to the public. Read more »

"Trail Town USA"
TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) hosted a special fall work study trip to Abingdon and Damascus Virginia August 29-31, 2012. Damascus is known as “Trail Town USA.” TOUR SEKY partnered with the Kentucky Department of Adventure Tourism to gear the trip toward communities working to become certified “Trail Towns” through the state’s new “Trail Town” program.

TOUR SEKY Receives its 5th Organization of the Year Award
TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) was named
Organization of the Year out of 12 states during the Southeast Tourism Society’s(STS) Annual Shining Example Awards Banquet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on November 1, 2012. TOUR SEKY is the only organization to win the award five (5)times. Read more »

Hatfield & McCoy Guided Tours Available
Pike County Tourism CVB is providing guided tours of the Hatfield-McCoy fues sites. Some of the tours guides were featured on the History Channel Documentary "America's Feud: Hatfield and McCoys." The tours give visitors an opportunity to ask questions and learn abouth the feud while seeing many of the significant feud locations. Read more »
