Somerset, KY – You could drive away from Somernites Cruise in a 1966 Mustang Convertible for as little as five (5) dollars. Somernites Cruise is held the fourth Saturday of each month April – October in downtown Somerset.
Chances on the popular muscle car will be sold at all Somernites Cruise events. The car will be given away October 23, 2010. The burgundy convertible features a cream colored “Pony” interior, V-8 engine and automatic transmission. Proceeds from the raffle will help fund the Somernites Cruise events. Somerset, KY - More than twenty (40) participants turned out July 15, 2010 to take part in TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky’s (TOUR SEKY) “Shining STAR” Customer Service Program. Michelle Allen, Director of Programs, conducted the training at the Hodgenville Chamber of Commerce Community Room. The Training was organized by Celia McDonald, Main Street Manager.

Somerset, KY – TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) is excited to announce the “Lake Cumberland Raft Up 2010” will be held August 14th from Noon-5:00 pm near Tate Landing in Wayne County.
The Lake Cumberland Raft Up 2010 will attempt to break the current record of 1453 boats rafted (tied) together on July 31, 2004, at Lake Norman, North Carolina. This record is for the greatest number of boats tied-up together in a continuous floating line and is measured in terms of the number of boats tied together. Read more »
Somerset, KY - More than 100 participants turned out June 15 to take part in TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky’s (TOUR SEKY) “Shining STAR” Customer Service Program. Michelle Allen, Director of Programs, conducted the training at the Kentucky Dam State Resort Park in western, KY. The Training was organized by Randy Newcomb, The Executive Director of the Marshall County Tourism Commission. TOUR SEKY DISTRUBUTES PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION FOR THE CHILDREN’S BOTANICAL GARDEN OF SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY
Somerset, KY – Thousands of rack cards promoting the Children’s Botanical Garden of South Central Kentucky have been distributed to Welcome Center’s, tourism offices and rest areas throughout Kentucky. Somerset, KY – Jeff Crowe, TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) President/CEO, attended the Board of Directors meeting of the Southeast Tourism Society (STS) June 17th-20th in Atlanta, Georgia.
Crowe was appointed to the STS board in the fall of 2009 and will serve through 2011. He has been with TOUR SEKY since 2003 and was named President/CEO in 2008. Read more »
