On August 22, 2012 at 12:30 PM ET Governor Steve Beshear will make the official announcement to launch the Trail Town Program.  The announcement will take place in Livingston , Kentucky at the Livingston Trail Head at the corner of HWY 25 and KY 490 in town.  The parking area for the announcement is across from the trail head.  Simply, turn right onto School Street and park in the rear.

Livingston was the first community to submit a complete application to become a trail town.  You will be amazed at the progress this small community has made and will be able to hear about the benefits of becoming a trail town in Kentucky during this event.
